Lillian Axe - my all time favorite band who just keeps getting better and better each time they come to Chicago, started in 1987. They went through some line up changes to get to who they are today. The band hails from Texas and Louisiana.
They first got signed to MCA records but the label failed to sustain the support and give the band the extra little push they deserved to truly rise to the top.
As of April 1991 they signed with Grand Slam/ IRS records, which led them well on there way to becoming a deserved success story.
As of 2001 they have the line up of who they are today.
Lillian Axe now continues to play clubs around Chicago and suburbs.
The hardcore Chicago fans truly enjoy seeing Lillian Axe playing live shows, and are really proving to the band that Chicago really knows how to rock in a style all our own.
The one thing about Lillian Axe and Chicago is you never know what to expect each time they come, which always makes there shows a stunning performance and a rockin good time.
The best thing though is Lillian Axe loves Chicago and is always friendly and anxious to meet and greet all the Chicago fans new and old alike.
